David L. Jacobs, CPA David Jacobs has over 17 years of public accounting experience.  He is a graduate of the University of Florida and also holds a Masters in Accounting degree from Florida International University (FIU).  He joined the firm after working as an auditor in another large, local CPA practice and became a partner for the firm in 2001.  David is an expert in small business accounting, tax compliance issues and tax planning.

Rafael L. Nones, CPA "Larry" Nones has over 25 years of experience in private and public accounting.  He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and also has a Masters degree from FlU.  Larry worked as Chief Financial Officer for various South Florida companies before opening up his own CPA practice in 1991.  He joined the firm as a partner in 2005.  He excels in helping businesses computerize their accounting and management information systems.

Jerry L. Carney, CPA Jerry Carney, who retired from the partnership in 2006, was one of the original founders of Jacobs & Carney, CPAs.  Stu Jacobs, David's father, was the other founder and is still active with the firm.  Jerry and Stu grew the practice through exceptional personal service to our clients.  Unfortunately for all of us who knew and loved him, Jerry passed away in June of 2009.  We intend to honor his memory by maintaining his name on the CPA practice that was his life's work.
